How much time to rescue Dynaheir ?

I met Minsc in Nashkel and I know he will ask me to find Dynaheir.
At this moment, I follow the Khalid/Jaheira-quest to go to the Nashkel-mines.

QUESTION :
How much time do I have before Minsc leaves the party ?

16 days, he'll remind you on the 10th day. And he doesn't just leave the party, he goes crazy and attacks you if you take too long.

Please do keep travel times in mind - going from zone to zone takes forever and you might have to rest on arrival at the gnollfort + 1 or 2 times on your way to her depending on party level and player skill.

If you're worried about the time you can clear your way to the Gnoll Fortress before you get Minsc, then go back and get him. That way you just have the travel time from Nashkel directly to the Gnoll Fortress to worry about. The Gnoll Fortress itself is a really easy area so you could most likely complete it even if you were still level 1. Just put someone with decent AC in front to tank and have everyone else use ranged weapons and you'll take minimal damage.

With the free Ankheg plate you can get in Nashkel plus the dex guantlets you find as soon as you get there, Minsc could easily tank it for you.

Some maps have little hidden containers or holes that have useful items in them. Nashkel is one of those places. If you walk around holding down the button that reveals containers (TAB in my case) you'll see a small hole in the ground by a garden and it has a suit of Ankheg plate in it. There are several other maps with goodies like that which are completely free but only if you find the hole they're hidden in.
