How to change game speed?
Back in the day the old version had a config thing you could pop up to change a couple settings, one was pathing nodes, but the other was game speed. I would love to slow the game down a bit. I think i used to run the game speed of 30 i think or something of the sort. I can't find the config tool the game used to have. Is it hiding? If not is there a way i can tweak a txt file?

You played at 1/2 speed? Wow, meanwhile everyone was playing faster hahaha! I mean why would you, you already have full reign on the pause button, unconditionally. Commendable, I guess?
Unfortunately I don't think that is present anymore. It was part of the old engine, and this is BGII engine. Maybe someone might know if it's somewhere in the configs but I doubt

because you can play the game more fluidly, not using pause and the spells looked cooler. You could adjust the game speed in BGII as well. the file was called BGconfig

You can change the speed in the Baldur.lua file. It's in the Documents folder/Baldurs Gate Enhanced

Open it in Notebook and search for:

Maximum Frame Rate, 30

I normally use 45.

Ok,. i checked that but it's set to 30, but i'm not really looking for framerate, i'm looking for the over all game speed.

In the old config file it was called AI updates / per second and it had a slider set on 30, i ran it lower. It also said must be set the same as server so i'm guessing this config still exists, just were is the mystery.
