Tales of the sword coast
Should I play it? Don't really wanna spend many hours in some dungeons. I want more to play Siege of Dragonspear and BG2 after.

Will I miss much?

Durlag is excellent content, but it happen in "dungeons". But there are detailed stories, good puzzles and overall everything very well knitted together.
You won't miss anything about the main plot, but there are some of the best side quests of the saga. It's worth to try, you can interrupt Durlag tower whenever you want, while other quests need to be finished in order to come back. You don't need to do all the quests and most of them are not related.

Storywise it's not connected to BG2 or SoD at all, but i usually do the Tales of the Sword Coast every run, most of the quests are fun and it's really easy to reach the 161 000 XP benchmark with it :)

However i would advise to leave Durlags Tower and "Mage Island" until you get to Chapter 7

You picked the wrong series then...

Durlags tower is great, and there is a tomb of wisdom in it, so you would miss that I would imagine at the least. Also some good items that carry over to seige of dragonspear I believe

This is not entirely accurate given that an item found in Durlag's Tower is crucial to the plot of SoD.

The +3 sword you get is also going to be extremely useful since the final boss of SoD can only be hit by +3 weapons of which there is an extremely limited supply; most +3 weapons in SoD are either garbage or easily missable.

Yeah that sword is minted, and it is silver so hits Greater Werewolves too AND an importable option into BG2

Durlag's Tower is great, but I wouldn't attempt it unless you have plenty of patience.

Ulgoth's Beard is worth visiting for the items that the innkeeper sells.

The Isle of Balduran is interesting but can easily be skipped. Many players find the boss fight extremely annoying.

Ice Island is nothing special and can easily be skipped, tho it does only take about 30 mins for the average player to complete.
Thanks for answers, guys! :) I will do this dlc when I will be on chapter 6 or 7. I'm on chapter 5 now.

Don't wait for Chap 7,, Do the stuff you want to do before you finish Chap 6. technically you can go there before or later.. I've done Durlags on chap 4 or 5 before.. it's very hard.

Id suggest at least a lvl 5-6 party at least before trying the tower. Ulogoths is a bit harder or at least more knowledge.

I won't say more to avoid spoilers.

When I started chapter 7 I started doing dlc. I'm in the tower now, just started going down into tower.
