If it does your fked since you get the cure in the Orignal campaign through a quest.
But since you have 0 way to cure yourself in SoD it shouldn't carry over, but iv never had this issue :/
Once you install it, create the path to your saved file, and upload that save.
It will allow you to edit most anything about your character, from stats to look, even race and class.
The easiest way would be to find the Potion you need and add it to inventory. There is also a way to edit effects on characters, so I'd imagine you could figure out which effect you need to remove and do that.
Just be careful. The more you mess with save files, the greater chance you have of creating conflicting inputs and that could result in an unusable save game.
At first i try to finish the mission but i couldn't finish it becose i had already killed the priestess.......and i kill him to take his boots.....lol
YYYYYEEEETTTT
i was able to not die and abandon the series for ever :D i went to baldur's gate after exiting candlekeep and started chapter 7;
0. got the poison
1. went to the tents in central BG - in all bg i had to make quick saves since guards would confront me and send me to jail - also, trick the game so i could enter from sides closer to my destinations, staying close to walls, really stealthy-like
2. spoke with lothar and followed the quest - again, being extra careful with guards https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Marek_and_Lothander#Returning_to_Lothander_and_finding_Marek
result: no more poison, i can continue with the game and life has meaning again :D
Everything in your inventory carries over into Dragonspear including Marek's "antidote". I don't recall needing it in SOD but it will still work as a neutralize poison antidote. If you don't want to carry it, leave it in your equipment chest that travels with you.
It does not carry over into BG2, sorry.
I see a number of folks avoid this side quest. Not sure why, it is pretty easy to do and you can get a couple of nice items (like the boots of speed).
