warded doors in the 2nd level basement, Durlags Tower

Hi,

I've seen walkthroughs online and various discussions here, but I still can't figure out:

How do I open one of the two warded doors on the 2nd level basement of Durlag's Tower?

I want to open either:

- The warded door next to the open door that leads back up to the 1st level basement
- The warded door leading from SE wall of the bedroom where the wardstones are.

I have already:

- used the switches in the Statue Room. The switches no longer do anything.
- found and picked up the three wardstones in the bedroom after killing the DopG. I actually killed two DopGs on this level. From reading online, I assume the 2nd came from the statue room
- I found all the items on the dummies in the Practice Room.
- I tried putting the wardstones back in different sequences, but the warded doors remain warded. Picking up and replacing one of them opens and closes one of the warded doors to the foyer, but it does not open either of the two warded doors I am trying to open.

I have not been able to:

-Attack the dummies. When I hover over them, I get the Speech and Pick Up cursors, but no option to attack them.

Is there a step on this level that I am missing?

To manually attack the dummies just click your weapon twice and it'll turn your cursor into a sword.

Nevermind, I found a post online that solved this. I did not realize that I had to force click my chosen weapon and click on the blue circle BENEATH the dummy. I was trying to attack the dummy but had no option to do so. After clicking ON my sword icon and then clicking on the highlighted circle at the base of the dummy, I was able to attack it and one of the warded doors opened.
