Stat spread for paladin
Just spent a good 10 minutes rerolling stats and managed to get a 92 with a 18/00 strength which is quite good if I remember correctly. I assigned the rest of the stats 18 dex, 18, con, 7 int, 13 wis, and 18 cha. Is this a good way to go?

I personally went for a higher stat roll and a lower strength percentile. its a paladin man. part of the kit benifits are the high stat rolls.

I went with a roll of 95 and dumb as a brick.

nothing wrong with your stat roll. Low INT might cause issues if you take them to BGII with the mind flayers, but there are ways around that.

You might want to avoid illiteracy penalty for protection scrolls though. Also Wisdom doesn't give extra spells slots for paladins in EE version. Personally I wasn't satisfied until I got 18/xx, 18, 18, 10, 14, 18, but I'm shameless perfectionist in RPGs.

I like being dumb as a brick, and high charisma.

makes me feel like the president.

Wisdom minimum is 13 for paladins i think.

For protection scrolls, from memory it can be targeted at other party members, so unless you're doing a solo run low int doesn't matter

there are plenty of potions of genius and mind focusing. Unless you are RPing not drinking them. if you need to be SMART for a bit. like to pass the lore check in Siege of dragonspear.

It was that particular roll I had, allows me to take few more hits from the dreaded illithids in the frontline after I import to SoA, I guess, also I usually sacrifice 1 point of WIS or INT in Spellhold. WIS check for spectator in Sahuagin city was 14 I think. Anyway I do hoard stat boosts potions, but rarely use them, that's typical problem. Always saving them for bigger fight.
