Bag of holding
I know there are none in BG, only the expansion and BG2, but is there a way to cheat it? I used to read a lot about EE Keeper or something like that where you can customise everything.. but I dont think it works with the latest version of EE

its barely a cheat, the game CRUELY needs that at this point, like is too short to deal with archaic inventory and runnin back and forth to sell stuff or using strenght potions

When I dont really get is that you get one in Icewind Dale wich is SOOO convenient, Im one of those greedy players who cant leave anything behind so selling 56 Long swords was quite satisfying...

guessing it was to make selling ankleg shells less lucrative. if you had a bag of holding you could haul hundreds of shells easily. as it stands I haul enough to easily buy anything in BG1.

its typically a high level item, very expensive and in table-top had so many RP uses (hiding corpses, running the team past something with the stealth guy, and more).
I suspect you can hack it in. As far as I can tell the engine is the same and I think the bg1 ee engine has the same internal item list as the other games.

I actually just did that part and I used the potion of power (STR 25, CONST 3) so I had 12 HP but could carry 1500 Pounds, I emptied my guy's inventory and filled it with ankegh shells, did that twice and must have got a good 15 - 20k of gold with that.. so I guess all is good, have enough cash to buy anything I want pretty much

what I typically do is use the quick loot button, drop them on the ground and move to the exit of the map, take a bit but I can get one guy carring whatever inventory capacity of shells, then its just a quick hop to temple then beregost (or rest at temple if its night) to sell the shells.

before the quick loot button we moved them from companion 1 to companion 2.

I get a decent chunk of change there but I also carry gem bags from neera and scroll cases, and potion cases and can carry alot of garbage.

just not the non-magic longswords that sell for 1 GP, those I leave on the ground.

Boost party with strenght spells (cleric or mage) Quickly pick up 3 or 4 shells per character and run to closest exit of the map. Go bereghost. You can make it there even if the buffs should run out XD Then either rebuff and move to blacksmith or drop and pick up and run back and forth to blacksmith.

get some mods to add bags of holding, then either buy/find it in game or use EE Keeper to give your party one.
