Latest EE incorporated a small fraction which was included in Unfinished Business Mod long ago, so the short answer is NO - There is a reason to use that mod but latest version 2.6.6 is incompatible with Unfinishef Business Mod, at least it wasn't in my case. So either find version 2.5 or wait for the updated UE Mod version which may take a while since BG 1-2 EE version 2.7 is expected in near future.
Here is a link where you can check for UE Mod releases, current version 16.4 will NOT work:

2.7? What have they done that they still need to keep breaking mods for these games? Wasn't removing 32-bit support from an old ass game enough already?

As for the Unfinished Business, I only heard that a 4th Elminister encounter was added into 2.6.6 patch, which I can't confirm. But so far I have not noticed any additional dialogues like in Unfinished Business mod (I am at Friendly's Arm Inn). Please also note that it should not be possible to install the mod to BG1 EE + SoD without another mod called DLC Merger, latest version 1.3 will NOT work with 2.6.6

On one forum I read that Beamdog fixed their own bug of bad pathfinding (from patch 1.3) and introduced a couple more bugs already. So I'm going to wait for mod updates but maybe play vanilla a little bit more. As for 32-bit support I think it's our current reality, no one supports 32-bit anymore.
It's one thing not to support 32-bit in the first place. It's another to take it away in an update. If there's one game I would install on a dusty old ass 32-bit OS laptop it would be Baldur's Gate. It's a 10 year old remaster of a 20 year old game. There's no good reason to remove the support for a title like this.
