You have to uninstall the Siege of Dragonspear DLC to get the old style ui.
I really dont like the UI changes they made after version 2.0.
You really should try out a simple ui mod. I dont think it would effect any mods that arent changing the UI.

I've downloaded the UI mod in the link. It doesn't seem to conflict with any mods like you said.
