It actually dictates only that Gorion is your foster father, Imoen is your friend, and you spent your life in Candlekeep.
Well, if you were a druid you could go to Friendly Arm Inn, talk with Jaheira about things, hear of the nearby druid coven, join them druids, and then say GL getting me from here gimp assassins :D
Buhahaha, Imoen would look at you, being horrified, and say I want we to be just friends :D :D :D She friend ladders and rises a hell awkward situation you wish you never said anything :D
and then out of nowhere an armoured black figure appears and finishes the job.
Haha, I will have to finish SoD for the first time so that I can start BG2 for the 11th time or so, and this time finally play it to the end.
There was a good tip in this forum some time ago to RP through it.
I don't have a home, but I use barrels and chests in each town for stashing junk. So, far it's always been there, untouched, when I check.
In Diablo 2, stuff on the ground will 'poof' after some time. Does that also happen in BG1 and the other sequels? Is the stuff in the barrels and chests safe?
Granted I haven't played that much of the game but I thought Imoen had a thing for the protagonist from the beginning. Although when I think about it some more I might've seen the sibling comparison having been drawn in the journal. If anything though I'll just collect all the female companions, kick them from my party inside of my comfy lake house master bedroom and do like a harem. Maybe the abandoned place in High Hedge.
