Getting out of -window mode

tl;dr

short version: I used the -window steam launch option to set myself into windowed mode. I want to get back to true fullscreen now, but can't. Just removing "-window" from the launch option did not fix. How do I get back to Dodge?

Odd, but Alt+Enter to return to fullscreen seems to work now. I did remove the "-window" from the Properties earlier, but I had thought it was done a long time ago.

Too many drugs in the 70s, I guess. And the 80s. And the 90s. Ah, those were the days...

long version:

I loaded the terrific autoroller. [1] I read that I had to start it in windows mode--just alt+Enter would not be good enough--so a few minutes research told me that I cound go to the "set launch options" under the steam library line for Baldur's Gate under the "Properties" menu item and add the "-window" flag.

I ran it that way and all was hunky and dory except that when I dragged the mouse to the edge of the screen, it no longer moved the view window in that direction. It was not a big deal, so I played a day or so using cursor keys to move the view window around and generated a stable of fun, awesome characters to try.

Having gotten my characters, however, I wanted to go back to where it had been before, with the mouse being used for nearly everything. I used the alt+enter to move back to fullscreen. Instead of real fullscreen, it went to a maximized version of the windowed version.[2] That was great for the FPS, but I could not use the mouse to change my view window.

I have tried -fullscreen. Any suggestion as to how to get out of -window for good?

[1] : Ya, I know it's cheating. My BG:EE burpled on my android tablet and had to reinstall, which wiped my 96 point mage. The options were to hex-edit the character file or to install autoroller. I figured the latter, while cheating, wasn't quite as "cheaty" as doing an edit to a character file.

Delete the baldur.lua file (located in Documents/Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition folder) and then run the game directly through the exe (located in your game folder). You can switch between fullscreen and windowed in the game options.
