Turn off respawns
I don’t like the respawns in BG. I explore a map and fight against the enemies and when I walk around further new enemies spawns at the same locations.

I like it, when I cleared a map, that this map is cleared and not filled with enemies again after a short while.

I think that depends on how long you’re in the map and that after some hours new enemies spawns, like in 8 or more hours after you have defeated the enemies at one spawn point.

My question is, exist a mod for BG:EE, which handles the respawns? I would like, that spawns only appear once and not more, or if that not exists, that I can adjust the time, when respawns should come, like only all 48 hours, as example.

It exists, (I don't remember its name off the top of my head though.) although I don't think you can turn respawns completely off you could set the respawn to long enough that you'd achieve the same effect. (And for people who want quicker respawns, you could also tweak the timers in the other direction as well.)

Thanks fauxpas. :)

Meanwhile I've searched the internet and saw, that BGT does that, what I want. The mod has two options:

1.) Turn off the respawns completely
2.) Turn off the respawns, but get the spawns once

Point 2 would be perfect for me, but it is not for BG:EE...

Then I found the mods "BG Spawn" and "BGEE Leveled Spawns". The latter one has the time adjustments and is for BG:EE, but it changes the encounters, too. It replaces the default spawns with spawns that scale in difficulty with the average level of the party. At the moment I don't know, if I can install the adjustments separately, without the leveled spawns. Normally I want the adjust option, only.

Then I read, that BG:EE has changed the respawns and it is not the same, as it was in normal BG, but I don't found any exact information about that. It could be, that the respwan timer is not so fast in BG:EE like it was in BG...

Although I can't answer for sure, nearly all WeiDu mods are extremely modular so you probably can.

This is why then i cleared a map i cast clairvoyance on it , that uncovers all the unreachable black exploration spots and marks the map as "DONE" so i know all respawns are now just trash...though i have no reason to go back to them normally.

but yeah thats the "Roleplay" aspect of the game, just because you killed a bunch of critters n people doesn't mean that stretch of forest is uninhabited for the rest of time.

That is correct. But I'm a slower player and I explore all areas completly and calmly. And it is disurbing, if you clear the half of the map and suddenly new enemies come from the places, where you have fought them shortly before. Is there a fair time of respawns or the respawns are there if I enter the area again or sleep there, then I like it and it gives the flair of the "Roleplay", but not, if you clear a map, and you have fight the spawns twice or more in a short time and that in each map. It is only my opinion. :)

O.K., if it is true and BG:EE has decrease the spawn time, so that this happens not to fast, it is fine for me and I like it. :)

But I've installed the BG:EE Leveled Spawns, now, and I will see and report here, how it works. :)

Actually, most areas don't have respawning mobs. In fact, i don't think that there are any such areas in EE, the only ones i can think of are Ankheg farm and Durlag's tower entrance, and even then it's just a single ankheg\doppelganger. Even some areas where mobs used to respawn in the original, like Firewine ruins, don't do so in EE. Rather, sometimes mobs won't spawn the first time you walk past a certain spot, but may still spawn there later on.

The Sword Coast Strategems mod (SCS[www.gibberlings3.net] also has a setting for random encounters. You should be able to set it to spawning just once with that one as well.
