Using EEKeeper to modify NPC classes to kits
I'm wondering if anyone has used, or does use, EEKeeper to change some of the NPC classes from base class to a kit (i.e. Minsc from Ranger to Beast Master, Imoen from Thief to Swashbuckler, etc.).

I just think there's almost no reason to take the base class when there's kits. And, since the EE introduces kits in BG1, why not modify the NPCs?

I do, and don't always stop at kits; some NPCs have there entire classes adjusted.

I would try to keep it inline with the game. However, I know selecting some kits might involve modifying existing weapon proficiencies, or some other stat.

I even thought of using EEKeeper when starting BG2:EE to get their stats, proficiencies, etc. back to what they were at the end of BG:EE. More of a true carryover to the sequel, IMO.

Meh, if the barb class existed at the time I'm convinced that Minsc would have been a barb and Dyna a sorceress.
