Theres one in NWN2...Don't think the earlier games had one.
best route is to press the F# key to bring up the spells (varies by class because apparently it assigns them from left to right then the right F# key for the spell, which changes because as you use up spells it disappears from the list.
most people just pause alot.

OK apparently you have 2 quick spell slots as a full mage. left click on them to load a memorized spell for quick casting.
If you are just starting the game, you need to memorize the spell you want, then rest at the Inn in candlekeep before you can put it into the quick spell slot.
I played this game when it was first released... but just picked it up again after finishing BG3... 6 times. Lol.
you generally only get 0-3 quick-slots, class depending, and that's hardly a useful amount (right-click on the quick-slot to select the spell for it, once you've rested). Once i found how to set up the spell hot-keys, I never bothered with trying to set any again.
