If you ask in a forum like this one, be verbose rather than brief. Mentions details! Include screenshots that show the area you are in and where you try to open doors. I guess you refer to Durlag's Tower, perhaps AR0511 or AR0512.
IIRC the order from the starting room is:
That is, I have to complete ALL the steps in a particular sequence? Otherwise, even though I killed the creatures and evaded all the traps, found and picked up the stones, etc. if those things don't happen in a specific sequence, I will get to a point where it is no longer possible to unward the necessary doors.
I have even tried putting the wardstones back where they belong and picking them up in different sequences. Still, the warded doors remain locked. The statues no longer do anything when I try to activate them.
I think the warded doors I need to open go to the throne room and a lever or torture room. Any suggestions as to how I can unward one of those doors?
Again, I already:
Found and picked up the wardstones (Kiel, Faernobol, Islanne (or whatever their names are))
Killed the doppelgangers
Triggered the switches in the statue room
Found all hidden items
