How to use EE Keeper with the latest Steam version of BG:EE?
So.

(1) In which folder should I put EE Keeper?

(2) What EXACT PRECISE steps should I take to make it work?

(3) Do I need two separate installs of it, one for BGEE and one for BG2EE?

I click on it. It says it can't find anything. There are four boxes that I have to input things into.

What is a "Game Profile", what should I type into that box?

Installation Directory - now that's a thing I understand.

The drop-down does not give me any options for "Game Language" at all.

I guess I can find the "User Save Data Directory": but WHY is this not contained within the game installation directory like it used to be?

Game Profile is just a quick link to the other 3 settings. You will need a seperate Installation Directory for each game, as well as Black PIts and SoD. So If you are playing BG1 and wanted to edit your save game folder, your window would look like this.

Game Profile :
BG1

Installation Directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\

Game Language:
English

User Save Data Directory:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\save\

Now if you wanted to say, Edit an Icewind Dale game, just change that info to those folders, and give the Profile a name like IWD, so you can easily switch between games.

Now I'm using Windows 10. so your install might look different if you have something else. My saved games are specific to my computer login profile. Not in the game directory. So that is why you have to give it a specific location.

It works for me, but directory names can be different, just browse to find them.

EEKeeper is a separate program/app. You install it wherever. When you run it you need to tell it where your save games are. This is where a lot of people get frustrated. In the EE games the saves are in your Documents folder, not the game file. But EEKeeper is not a mod you install into BG. Totally separate program.
