Left an npc in flooded mines?
I left Faldorn cause I wanted Yeslick and then proceeded to flood the mines. Did she swim her way out or is she one with nature? I sure hope shes okay.

Not okay.

At least not without a mod that changes how the dismissal system works.

Although if you can't live without her I suppose you probably could teleport to the old map and then teleport back out, but it'd be safer to simply reload an old save.

Just wondering if the game would teleport npcs out of the mines if you flood it.

One would think she would walk her way out, knowing, as she does, the eventual fate of the mine.

True, but it was an limitation of how the real devs handled NPC dismissals in general.

Yeslick is a much stronger NPC in any case.

Hard to believe anyone would REALLY be that stupid. I'd say "To Hell with the rulebook! I'm not staying in this soon to be underwater tomb. Come to think of it I believe I was dismissed before we went into the mine. I mean, Hell, they rescued the damned slaves,"

Heh, good riddance of Faldorn. She's quite a trouble in BG2 you know.

Save for this, my cheatsheet is lost but I imagine following things being possible via console:
* Respawn Faldorn
* Load the map where you left her, join her to the party and leave

You do not want to respawn her, since it would be a new version of her, but as I said, teleporting to the map should be possible.

Trying to remember what Faldorn did in BG 2. That was a good option you got in BG 2, You could tell them, "Head on over to the Copper Coronet. If we need you we'll come on over, and sober you up."
fauxpas Dec 30, 2018 @ 10:28am
That's why I use the mod that does the same thing in BG(1).

The Copper Coronet's a long ways in BG 1.

Faldorn took over the Druid Grove and began to hit nearby city Trademeet with everything nature has got. People die, animals die and it doesn't stop. It is a quest to go down to the druid grove, investigate and root out the cause, which involves fighting Faldorn to death in pit.

Preventing all that mess by simply leaving Faldorn to drown at the very bottom of the Cloakwood mines would be f.. brilliant if it were possible.
