Chronological order
Hello,
what is the chronological order, if I played Baldur's Gate: EE? Is it just BG2 and Siege of Dragonspear? Cuz Wikipedia mentions Tales of the Sword Coast, which is included in EE but also mentiones Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal, Dark Alliance I and II, but those are not on Steam.

EDIT: I see Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal are in BG2:EE, but I would still miss Dark Alliance 1 and 2, right?

  1. Baldur's Gate + whenever you wish you may do quests from Tales of the Sword Coast
  2. (created newly by Beamdog - should work as "bridge" between BG1 and BG2) Siege of Dragonspear (by some players ignores this expansion, some others like it... personal preference)

Thanks. I was asking because afaik you can keep your main char or even ur whole party if you have a fitting savegame.

Only the Bhaalspawn is carried over between BG(1) & BG(2).

I'd def start with BG1 and then BG2. it's very hard to go from BG2 to 1. i just did it, and it's like going from being a professional engineer to the sandbox at kindergarten xD

There is nothing stopping you from importing a ToB character into SoA, or even BG1 if you wanted to for some reason.

To import a 20th level character into a 1st level playing experience may be a little top heavy but it may have its peculiar way of being fun.

Unless something changed since I last checked it's also likely to break things since the HLAs aren't fully included and requires a mod to kind of make work.
