Accessing the Expansions

I just purchased and downloaded Faces of Good and Evil and Siege of Dragonspear from Steam. I see no way to access either game. Do you have to finish Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition first?

Faces of Good and Evil is just a cosmetic thing offering more images for you to use for character faces, either the faces are showing up or they aren't.

Siege of dragonspear does start after you beat BG1:EE after killing Sarevok automatically. but the menu should be able to be switched to siege of dragonspear by clicking on the siege of dragonspear circle. on the main menu.

circle is below 'quit game' from the launch menu. the other circle is for the black pits.

There is no button on the launch menu for Siege of Dragonspear. There is only the Black Pits button up toward the middle of the screen. Maybe since you played it the only way to access the game is by finishing BG1: EE.

You should see the button for SoD in the main menu.

If it's not there, make sure the DLC is enabled - restart steam, check the DLC-Tab and the download-progress.

My launch screen looks like it did before I added expansions, not like this one. I restarted Steam. My DLC tab shows both additions as installed. Still no sign of ability to launch Siege of Dragonspear.

I got it to work, thanks! You have to let the BGEE starting cut scene play out before it gives you the option to play Siege of Dragonspear for the first time.
