[SOLVED] Q: A way to get maximum total roll during character creation.
Hello,
I'd like to have an instant maximum stat roll, but not by using a savegame editor after creating my toon. I'm worried that I mess up other stats because they might not scale with the stats I changed by using an editor.

Besides that I read that some classes have a different max total roll than others, and I just want the max roll a specific class can have.

Is there a way to get a max total roll (during character creation) matching the class you're playing?

I know it's cheating (Minsc & Boo will not be pleased) but my eyes start to hurt when staring at the total roll after 15-20 minutes. And I want that max total roll.

If you have a save with the Tomes in your inventory you can duplicate them boost up your character then export the character for importing into a new game.

Use a memory editor (e.g. cheat engine), search for spendable points, freeze spendable points, max out all stats, proceed.
If you have a save with the Tomes in your inventory you can duplicate them boost up your character then export the character for importing into a new game.
Or just add the tomes with EE Keeper.

TY for the info everyone!
I got a total of 90 points after lots of clicking, then I had to go back in creation to check of Cleric could use shields. Then I got back and had to reroll (recall button was grey) *doh*.

So I tried again for a looong time and got a total of 91! I think that's decent enough and decided to play the toon. I'll keep your advice in mind about max rolls if I change my mind!

yeah if it really bothers you, you can keeper in the tomes. but there are people who enjoy sitting for hours just rolling stats before character creation. despite having a build that doesn't use WIS or CHA for anything.

tbf everyone benefits from CHA because otherwise you lose out on gear or end up entirely ignored by NPCs.

Also party conflicts are mitigated by CHA, which is why some people whine about Mont and Crazy Eyes killing Auntie and Uncle (well, nearly always the other way around as Jaheria and Khalid tends to win handily) almost as soon as they meet.
there is an auto roll "Mod" out there which can auto store the highest Roll auto matically.
i started the "Range Roll" method and did go to bed. after about 8 hours of Running the program and some coffee, it stored a Roll of 102. i believe the highest roll would be 108.

when manually rolling, you should focus on getting 93 because it is very rare. the rolls above that are ultra rare. the "auto roller" does multiple rolls a second, so your mouse button and your wrist, would appreciate you using a software to roll instead. :))

and of course, if you roll manually, you have a very high chance of missing the high Rolls

just be sure not to change the method while running a method other whise it will revert to 70 or something.

i am using "dragonspear_ui++" mod which hast that auto roller integrated.

=> Autoroller (by Mr2150, based on work by Faydark): If you toggle CheatMode On, in the options “UI Settings” screen, you will be able to use several methods to ease the rolling stats process.

That's the problem. Your eyes hurt when they have to bleed. Also, real men don't turn off the music when creating a char - your ears need to bleed too if you want that 97.
