Help! Can't find Scar (Flaming Fist) nor enter the Ducal Palace
So, I did the Iron Throne Headquarters quest. When I tried to leave, a guy called Caedmon said that I should talk to Scar in the Flaming Fist Headquarters. He's not there - neither in the front of it, nor inside. I looked everywhere.

The Caedmon guy also said that "if he's not there, then speak to Duke Eltan". So... I tried to do this. But I can't enter the Ducal Palace. When I try to, I recieve the message "You must gather your party..." even when everyone's there.

So, I'm doing something wrong, or this is a bug? I tried to load an early save to re-do the Iron Throne Headquarters, but the result is the same. Tried an even early save, no game. At this point, maybe the only way is to restart the game?

Have you tried going upstairs inside the Flaming Fist Castle? The stairs are in the corner of teh main room on the ground floor. There's a basement too by the way.

In which corner? Inside the Castle, I can only see cells. There's a closed door in the main room in the middle, blocking my path if I try to go north. In the basement I can see just a Mercenary.

It's a weird lump of stone looking thing in the top corner I believe..try cursoring over it..

In between the two sets of barrels just above the top corner of the red carpet.

Wow, my god. I found it. Somehow I tried everywhere, but when you said it, BAM, suddenly I could see it. Thanks!

Let's hope that I can continue the story now! \o

I had the same issue. Went back and forth between the Duke's Palace and the Flaming Fist building

Thanks to this post I found the stairs :) :)

I couldn't find the stairs even when the soldier next to it says to take the stairs behind him to speak to Scar/Duke
