Trying to edit a character with EEKeeper 1.0.4.0 HELP me please
I have installed EEkeeper from sourceforge and have followed the directions and even watched a youtube video tutorial. I cannot find any .CHR files to edit from the save games folder. I set my install and save folder correctly etc. Any help or advice appreciated. Sorry but a 6 strength is not cutting the mustard.

Have you looked here?
C:\Users\<YourUserNameForLocalPC>\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\characters

Have you exported the character to make a .chr file yet?
In game, go to Character Record, then click the Export button. This only functions for the main character, not the pre-built companions.

Okay cool, I got that part now and managed to load the .chr file. I tried to save it / overwrite the file that was there and it said "overwrite?" and I clicked "yes". Then I loaded the game and no stat changes. :( Do I need to import the chr file somehow?

Sorry, knowing file locations and the need to create the .chr via export button is all I know, punting to someone else now...

Just open up a savegame in EEkeeper and edit that.

Okay, that is much easier and I can continue playing the same game, instead of starting over.

How do I edit the followers though? Sarfana started SoD higher level than I wanted to dual-class her and I'd have to add an attribute point. But all I see is my lovely Lara (MC). Nevermind, I didn't notice the slider underneath the portrait for changing characters, problem solved!

I'll agree the slider under the portrait isn't the most inuitive bits of UI design!
