Stuck on Chapter 4.

I am in chapter 4 and don't know where to go or what to do move the story forward. I heard that in the previous chapter you are supposed to get greeted by a girl named Chloe who takes you to Officer Vai. I heard that's is really important. Well, again I am in chapter 4 and it has not happened to me. Am I missing something? Is there still a way to move the story forward? Or am I stuck and need to start over?

That's not important at all storyline wise. What main event did you just finish? I don't want to say too much if you're not where I think you are.

Officer Vai should be in the Jovial Juggler in Beregost. Chloe will find you somewhere in Beregost. You don't actually have to speak to Chloe first I went directly to Vai.

I have looked everywhere in the Jovial Juggler. Can't find Vai.

vai isn't that important, you need to go to feldpost inn, there you can find a mage on the second floor, if you defeate him, he will tell you where the bandit camp is. You can also go to Peldvale, on the north east of this map are bandit's you can accompy to the bandit camp.

Officer Vai buys bandit scalps from you, and you can also talk to her after you clear out the Bandit Camp for a reputation point.

If you read the letters from Tazok's chest, they will point you towards the Cloakwood Forest, west of the Friendly Arm Inn.
