Question about Racial enemy
So my Ranger has a class enemy Demonic/Fell. I'm not a native english speaker. I obviously understand what demonic is, but when I google translate Fell, i get like the verb fell. So what does Fell in this case mean. Which creatures are Fell ?

I'm pretty sure Fell is the plural form of Fey, in which case:

Fey is the plural of fey i think, fell in my mind is normaly demonicly tainted not 100% demon but corrupted by it
In game terms i assume some creatures are tagged as fell instead of demon, i'd have to look in near infinity

Makes more sense than fey, since fey aren't demonic in any way. Thank you, so basically Fell is Demonic in some way aswell. Maybe like Imps or so.

E.g Something like a fell ogre: it's not a demonic ogre but an ogre tainted by demonic power

Fey creatures are not "Fell". Fey are faeries, pixies, sprites, nymphs, and dryads. Plural of "fey" is "fae". Fey typically have a connection to nature.

Fell creatures are denizens of the lower planes (i.e. The Abyss) that are not considered demons.

Demons and Devils. It's a pretty useful racial to have as they're uncommon but not extremely rare to fight, plus the bonuses help you kill them faster and they can be pretty powerful enemies.

Yeah i was thinking about either undead, demon/fell, or dragons. I plan to export my char from B1 to Throne of Baal, to do all games with one char. As far as i know there are no Dragons in BG 1, dunno about Dragonspear (didnt play it yet, pls no spoiler ^^), and in ToB and BG 2 they were really rare while very powerful. In BG1 most Undead are weak and while this racial enemy is still a very good choice, because there are very strong undead later in BG 2 as far as I remember, like Vampires. Also they are common which is good. But I remember the Demons as some of the strongest enemies in the game, but as you said not too rare. I am just at BG 1 now and the Demon Knight and the Demon the cult summoned were really tough, so I'm glad I picked it. Sure they are rare in BG1 but I remember that Helm Keep from BG2 / ToB, where are many Demons and I remember some other in BG 2 aswell. So I really think it's a very decent choice and also they are the most unnatural beings, so from a RP perspective a good choice aswell for a ranger.

When I go ranger I always pick spiders. Spiders are all over the place in BG1 and BG2 and thanks to their poison I want to kill them as fast as I can. Before fighting any of the tough enemies, like demaons or dragons, I will buff with so many potions and spells that I really don't know if the racial enemy bonus matters all that much. However, I think it is noticable on the trash enemies where you are not likely buffed at all and spiders are one of the more dangerous trash enemies.

There are abishai, lemures and other stuff that are basically denizens of the evil planes.
