Siege of Dragonspear UI?

So, I'm playing BG1, and bought Siege of Dragonspear in the sale in anticipation of finishing the game and continuing on to SoD and BG2.

Except I just downloaded, and it changes my UI to this hideous blackness. Everything is so freaking dark, I hate it. I really, really hate. What the hell were they thinking? It doesn't even fit the theme. I'm tempted to uninstall the DLC while I finish the game just so I don't have to deal with this distracting hideousness. Is there any way to revert to the original UI?

There doesn't seem to be an in-game way to choose interface, which is really awful, so I uninstalled SoD for now. Are there good UI mods compatible with EE/SoD?

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for. I'm used to the new ui already, but... I was just looking at mods the other day

There's more out there, but I know where you're coming from. I liked the grey/blue stone and gold menus from before.

Not everyone develops strong feelings about the black UI. I've found it more easy to look at, less distraction compared with the overly yellow/golden UI.

I'm the biggest Beamdog Fanboy (official title) there is, and I'm sorry, but that black UI is *atrocious*. It doesn't fit the theme at all (so far, far, FAR from it, really, as if they wanted to go in exactly the opposite direction from the original) that I really can't believe they made it like that. I just saw it for the first time in a gameplay video and thought it was someone's mod. Yikes.

Is there just a simple mod that changes it back to the light brown parchment, but keeps the rest in tact? That's all I'd want, a light brown parchment color choice (with black text of course.)

I'm sure not everyone hates it, at the very least the people who made it must like it, but it's clearly divisive, and nobody was clamoring for a revamping of the the colord of the old UI, certainly nothing so drastically different. I just don't understand the logic behind it. Plus, thematically, it just doesn't fit.
