I blame the schools.
Your joking right? I mean maybe not about the schools and the wanting. But do you honestly like the rerolling hell that is making a character for this game
No, I don't necessarily like it. I just do it and accept it as part of setting up a new game and creating a new character.
It has never taken me two hours. Twenty to thirty minutes max. I have, however, learned to slow down a bit so I do not waste good rolls by blowing right past them. And I do not require perfect numbers in everything. I'll take an 89 if the numbers are right.
It is quite a nice feeling to get lucky and snag a great roll for your orcish barbarian after just a few rolls, even though I know that statistically it should have taken longer
But then, I am capable of deferred gratification.
(Btw I would love to see that moment when his super imba 99 stats whatever pg char with 18/00 strength gets owned by a certain mage near a certain tavern quite early in the game.)
And you can recharge all wands by selling them to a merchant and then rebuy them.
You can just edit the file. Roll a character, export it, and edit your stats directly to be 20s or whatever cheat you want.
