The sound is a bit off though. The music is good but the sound effects are really low volume in the mix, sometimes it seems like the effects are missing entirely.
I went through the options but couldn't find any settings to alter the music/effects mix.
Overall its a decent package which plays well enough. If you are used to playing the arcade pcb or retroarch you will find the latency just a bit lagging in this version.
There's been too many cases time and time again when someone says It "feels good" or "it's not too bad" regarding shmup/STG port quality and then someone dedicated come in later, sometimes weeks and months down the line, and actually give the numbers (input lag) and accuracy examples.
Not terrible and not great either. Just really OK and middle ground. Basically it's 4-5 frames under optimal settings. A frame of lag additionally to the Saturn version.
Just laggy enough to be annoying then. Thanks for the info.
