Vanilla vs Legendary Heroes

Hey. I bought both this and the normal version of the game during the winter sale, both largely since I thought the former was a major add-on to the latter.

Is Legendary Heroes like the original Fallen Enchantress, but with more to it than the original? Thinking of getting a refund since I got the first one and haven't installed it yet since purchase.

It is a full overhaul, and that is what it is. Instead of heroes on the map, you accumulate "Fame" and at fame levels you get a choice between which of 3 heroes joins you. You also have a UI overhaul and more items and spells.

Not really an expansion. You know how E: WOM was "taken down" and Fallen Enchantress declared the "New Game"?

They should just take down Fallen Enchantress and leave Legendary Heroes as "The Game".

Thadian is right. StarDock has sold the exact same game three times under different names.

You should get a refund for FE - even though some minor features were actually better in FE than in LH (they made some awkward 'improvements' with LH in some areas), LH is still the 'main game' now and the version being supported.
