Forward Headquarters Strategies
Hello everyone, I've played CoH for a long while but I've never attempted any Forward HQ strategies yet. I was wondering if any of you had done that and how effective it actually is.
I know that it doesn't cost fuel and unlocks units as you unlock phases (Skirmish, Assault, Battle) - which is why it's an advantage for Wehr since Americans have to build a base building for them to be able to build at a FHQ.
Anyway, to the point, is it actually worth using a Forward HQ and skipping the T1 and possible T2?

forward hq does not give yu sny benefit apart from unit building you still need t1 t2 t3 t4

Actually...
It does. If you're US and opt to build a weapons support first, a forward HQ will let you build riflemen without a barracks. It also gives yo ua forward point to reinforce from. (or in the case of panzer elite heal rom as well)

South Ango as Wehr. FHQ in the building on the crossroads spam volks, med bunker down and strangle the Ami's cutoff. Go defensive and FTFL/mine any attempts to dislodge you with bar/flamer blob --> get to late game --> win.
