Can't access my DLC
When the new steam version became available, I downloaded it straight away. After I loaded it up for the first time I noticed I no longer had access to my dlc, and was prompted to purchase it again if I wished to play it. I then went to check the old version. It started prompting for me to insert the CD's. After a quick fix, I found it was the same story. Lost all access to dlc that i had already purchased.

Did you get the dlc's in a case or via steam store?
MajorKong Jul 24, 2013 @ 2:07pm
I got them both retail, when it was THQ all i needed to do was click on my account (ingame) put my cd keys in and everythign was unlocked.

Dont see anything like that on this new sega one.

Also i have noticed ive got OP on my steam account

Since this has never happened to me i cant really explain how to fix this.
But you could try this.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 1
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Goto library > right click the DLC's (if they are still there) > properties > verify integrity of game cache

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 2
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unistall the game & dlc's and reinstall

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 3 (only if you have the dlc case from a store)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uninstall the game and dlc's, open the case and find a cd key/serial key. Type them in again and it 'may' prompt you to download it again

If you got it via steam try this.

-------------------------------
Option 1
-------------------------------
Uninstall the game + dlc's and reinstall

-------------------------------
Option 2
-------------------------------
Library > right click dlc > properties > verify integrity of game cache

-------------------------------
Option 3
-------------------------------
Library > right click dlc > view cd key > copy cd key > + Add non-steam game (bottom left corner) > Activate product or whatever it is > put the cd key there. And it 'may' prompt you to install it...

-------------------------------
Option 4
-------------------------------
If nothing works, contact steam

Glad you fixed your problem :P

Unfortunately my problem goes unresolved. I've had a ticket open with steam for nearly a day and a half now without response. When I browse the local game files I actually see the dlc files located there, but when I check the dlc tab in properties ti says I only own the core game. I don't know what happened when they added the new version, but it feels like blatant robery.

If i were you i would revert back to the original CoH you were playing which had the working dlc's on them. The new steam version is just an update that they brought back multiplayer. Your problem may be because the dlc's are downloaded on the other CoH since there are 2 types of the game in the library one called "New steam version" and just the orginal game not modified by steam.

I have the DLCs purchased through Steam but they are not installed on my PC currently, I got the New Steam Version through my Retail CoH CD Key and yet I have access to said DLCs without them even being installed on my PC. Is it possible the New Steam Version comes with the DLC but having the DLC installed separately in some form conflicts with the New Steam Version? I'm even playing Mods that require OF or ToV to run (Normandy 44 and Modern Combat) with no problem despite not having the DLC installed.

I purchase the CD's originally. When the new steam version came out I inputted the codes from my boxes into steam and it gave me the opportunity to download the files again.

I've only installed the New Steam version. And because I inputted the codes into Steam then I guess the new steam version unlocks the expansion content in that version.

The non-steam version, and expansions are sat in my games list, not installed. Not needed.
