COH 1 still offline, need help setting the game over hamachi

I have realy had it with those mongol idiots!
I am trying to play COH1 with my friend and the servers are still not working. Now we wanted to play via hamachi, anyone know why he cant connect to my game? He doesnt see me in the game and I dont see his game either.
Please help!

Why not play via Steamworks? Works like a charm if you want to play with friends. Just set up a passworded server and get crackin'.

Indeed, everything works fine for me. Your friend, of course, has to have the Steam version too.

Yea game does not work with multiple adapters, as hamachi installs its own adapter and needs the LAN adapter active too, I dont know how you would fix this ?

Just install the New Steam Version of CoH. Then setup a passworded server and have your friend join. Make sure to delete the file 'temp.rec' in folder C:\...\My Games\Company of Heroes Relaunch\Playback\ between every match. If you are behind a router make sure to forward the correct ports. Just search this board - there are loads of threads about port forwarding.

As soon as I click the multiplayer option, my game crashes. Same goes for my friend, and yes that is the new steam version of the game :(

Delete the temp.rec file in the "Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes Relaunch\playback\" folder, than you should be able to enter the multiplayer screen.

Seriously?!?!?! that is all? OMFG you have no idea what we were going through for the past 3 weeks trying to get the game to work, we ve even downloaded a cracked version of the game O_o
