GOOD NEWS!!!

After scouring through the internet for hours, I found the solution to what keeps the COH crashing and displaying the crash report window. Apparently a Microsoft update somehow creates the error.

Just fixed it by uninstalling [ microsoft update kb2670838 ].

Start Menu > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > View Installed Updates > Search for Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2670838). > Uninstall It > Allow computer to restart > You should be good to play again.

Tried deleting the temp.rec file?

If you run MOD ....2700 "error report" can not enter the game delete "Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes Relaunch\playback\temp.rec" Enjoy!!!

if the crash still persist after uninstalling the microsoft update kb2670838, try deleting all the folders and files on your main \STEAM folder EXCEPT \STEAMAPPS and STEAM.EXE. This will give a clean slate for your steam as it will download and update itself and save you the trouble from uninstalling and reinstalling all your games. BUT BE WARNED your steam user settings will be gone as well.

Mine crashes for Skirmish or Online straight away after games loads. SO pick skirmish, wait for game bar to load, just a couple second before game should begin. Crash. ! Every single time. I used to have a problem where the game control response time lagged. Meaning the game ran smoothly but when I tell a unit do something, they dont respond till 5 seconds later. Then one day this stops and game worked fine , might be the windows 10 update. Got to play games for a week. Then suddenly this crash thing appeared again.I did have this crash thing ages ago, game would crash randomly in mid game sometimes

Uh yeah that update is the directx11 platform update, do not uninstall that
Uninstall this old busted ass game instead

Thats about CoH3, doesnt help a lot
