An activated game cannot be moved from one account to another. This has always been a rule of Steam. This is one reason I don't understand individuals with multiple accounts. Either way, you're either going to have to re-buy the relevant expansions or continue hot-swapping accounts.

iirc, you're not even supposed to have multiple accounts. Can't see any reason why you'd need them, unless you were VAC banned on one.

Serious question: How old are you two? You type like you're thirteen, at most.

A bit of research does find that there's no limit to the amount of Steam accounts a person can have, but honestly, I find that pretty silly. One account per person is how pretty much any service works, and why Valve's policy is different makes absolutely no sense.

Yeah I think it's pretty silly you have to rebuy a game honestly. When having that same game on an older account that you have bought it under.. Why not just be able to transfer games to newer account. It would save a lot of trouble. I think they should do away with having more then one account as well. You can only create one account per IP. That way you could easily transfer games from older accounts that was using a different IP at the time.

They Never started it like that so why would they change it now. Well for instance hackers hacking other peoples accounts. So many accounts to choose from no wonder why hackers want to hack accounts. When a password is changed plus email it's over with. All you can do is report account has been stolen/hacked. Got to create another account until then. To wait for steam to get the account back. This is just my point of view on why they should change it.

Families have more than one account and most players have more than one account.

If you are a family, you would have many accounts. Kids, parents and or even a grand parent. So to limit a household to one account for all to play on is nonsense. For those of us that do have more than one account as I do, I just want my accounts merged with one of them deleted and valve should not have a problem with that since it is on the very same computer as my other account and in this regard they should allow it but won't. It is stupid.

Well i have 2 games in my ooold account, i don't like the name i choose then anymore, so i made this new account and i bought some games for this account too. Now... I should be able to move the old account games to my new account. And steam should check my VAC Status, showing im not banned, and that both are my accounts, and finally that the old account would be deleted after. I think this should be easy and possible at least once.

The ip address of one computer is by default Dynamic(It changes when you restart your router or Computer) But a computer's MAC Address is Static(It Does NOT change under any condition). So what they could do is allow one account per MAC address and if you have 2 computers just add that MAC address to a "whitelist" so you can have two comuters but one account.

how to you play against family with only one game of coh ?
you cannot install another coh on the same account so you need 2 accounts to play on or offline together.
Or friends playing at your house with your second account.

Hello guys!U can transfer games from 1 acc to another! How? u must have the original disk from the first acc that u installed it and install it with the 1st acc to your pc when u installed change acc and sing in with the second and u will see that there is your game..so, that u have to do is to send a request to let u play the game to the 1 acc(email) and when u go to email u can verify that and u are ok thats all! Now u can play from the second acc!!!!

If you ask to merge the accounts they sometimes let you, use a VPN located in a different country, one which is a bit corrupt and they will probably let you do it, on Origin they let you cause its so much better than Steam
