COH "cheaters"

I've been playing COH for about 4 years. Tonight I encountered a team of players that aquired grenadiers,trucks to carry them in, and multiple Tigers at a VERY early point in the game. Tonight they played by the names Lost4words, Xazax, and Robocophighlander. If you're looking for a fair game, you should avoid playing with these guys. I've been unable to find a place on STEAM to report this kind of thing. These type of players are not the sort of guys we want in our STEAM community. Is there any way to report this kind of behavior?

Naming and shaming is not alound report and move on
I dont no why its not alound and you might be banned for it as i have been banned for naming and shaming crazy a but thats the truth i think they dont like you to name cheater or boosters because they dont get banned and dont care

Allowed* It is allowed. It's warning the public about people who are potential trolls/cheaters. There's nothing stating that you can't do that. It's not shaming. Please think before you make a comment Pakistani.

Is it any use to report so-called cheaters/harrassers? I reported a player who decided it was fun to friendly fire me on purpose (I won't go name-shaming, so I will just leave it at 'player'). I often report players for cheating or using offensive language (really people, it's just a game, if you get mad about it, quit playing) but I don't think steam ever does anything with these reports.

Or its was just Moderator Abuse of Power if thats the case its wrong
I am letting you no this because LIGIT PLAYERS BEAWARE of ban BOOSTER/CHEATERS are safe on the forums they have nothing to worry about

Thanks for the reply guys. I did not know it was against the rules to report players for misbehavior. It seems to me that is a flawed policy. However, if that's the rule, I wont do it again. You would think that STEAM (the COH community) would want to know of this kind of thing. It's disappointing; "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing".

Yeah not a problem and I think its very sad the way the steam community are treated for reporting cheater and boosters on the forum its a place to let of some STEAM lol when you come a crorss People who abuse the game and make game play unfair and you cant let the COMMUNITY no about them and yes this policy is flawed and need to be looked at again because hacker booster and what ever els are SAFE to do what ever they want...

There is the other side to this as well people call people cheaters when they do nothing wrong as well, so hard to know who is really cheating and who is not.
Some one calling another a cheater in a forum with no actual proof is not a good thing.

Thats ture but when you post prof of them hacking aswell and everyone can see it for them self to be banned for that is wrong now just naming them is wrong with no proff as well so its like what do you do let thm get away with it because that what steam are doing by banning peps who expose them

Most Game companies think they are protecting their products image to promote better sales by pretending that nobody can/did cheat in their games. Ban the messenger, maybe the public will never realize a game is being cheated. Relic has left CoH1 to die on the vine for now in hopes of forcing players over to CoH2, this is understandable from a numbers(business) only point of view. But this simply alienates the original player base.
The new game functions with little or no interaction/discussion between random players. Chatting is limited to your Steam list, or whoever you fall into games with.

it has nothing to do with steam to ban people from games as they do not own the games.
The place is relic they ban people as they make the game and have control over it.
Steam are just servers like websites own the content and the servers are owned by someone else and just hold the information for other to see.

Yeah you might be right on that but we are talking about Naming and Shaming wicth you will be banned for on the FORUMS we no VAC PB ect deal with in game

Yes what I ment was if you want to get someone banned from the game for cheating relic is the place to do it no on the steam forum.
So its pintless naming and shaming on here which is why steam probably ban people from doing it as they have no control to ban them from the game.
