Relic Server down

Anyone else not able to play this game? Every time i have logged in the last 4 days the server is down. I checked yesterday one time and it didn't say it was down but I didn't have time to play a game. I play the AI and don't even log into play online. So I am not sure why I can't play offline on my own computer!? IS this because it's being played through steam? I miss the days of just installing a game on your pc and it worked! No incompatibility issues or server offline notifications. Just open and play.

I did log in 2x yesterday, I forgot to clarify that. It was in the afternoon around 3-4pm that I was able to log in without it saying Relic Server down. But I didn't have time to play. I was just seeing if it was my pc, steam or COH/Relic Server. It's obviously Relic. All my other Steam games load and allow me to play online and offline games.

Have the relic servers been down for weeks now? I still get the error message when I fore up the game, and cannot even get into multiplayer screen. Meanwhile, my brother in another location gets the error, CAN get into multiplayer, but sees no online matches. So is this universal or do I have some localized problem?

They want everyone to ultimately be on a surveillance subscription model don't they, own nothing be happy, censor yourself etc, Bs.

multiplayer works fine on my end, seems to be an issue with your internet. make sure you're running the new steam version and not the older one, maybe that's the problem, no idea

I get the stupid relic servers down error message every time I log in. But the game plays fine. Not sure why. Relic said send me a screen shot of your error message even though I clearly said what it says. No help at all. Before it wouldn't let me play, now it plays even though I still get message. Not sure.

I havent been able to play the last two times i reinstalled the game, last week or so.

I meen, i uninstall it so i wont waste my life. But now and then i reinstall to play a few games, so if it wont work, im not sure ill keep doing it.

What happens to me is that it seems to work fine, but as soon as a game starts - the game freezes, and after a while both players are kicked. Then able to click automatch but not pick faction, after a while im not able to click automatch, i can join a lobby game but then it says im not able to connect to the players. Then after i restart the game it says relic servers not available, and then not even this discussion forum lagged but im not sure that has anything to do with it. But it was weard STEAM was having a hard time saying i dont have a connection to the discussion forum.... at the same time the game is not working. Very strange. And when the forum established connection im able to press the automatch button.... lets see if it works.... Ok. So i was seraching for a game, 3 axis and 3 allied - all of the sudden it stops searching. Restarted serach - connected to a game - game starts - can move anything minimap black. It seems like im unable to connect to the clients in the game.

Id guess the scripts are p2p on the clients after the game starts and not routed through the server and the firewall blocks incoming and outgoing data from the peers. Just my guess. - --- update: No its something server side. Now i was able to join a game lobby, and chat for a while. Then all of the sudden im disconnected and the connection staus of the other players when i look on the game is a red X instead of 0-5 bars. Never ever seen that before last 15 years.

I could play a whole lobby game, fantastic. Edit: 45 min later im unable to connect to relic server when clicking multiplayer

Im sorry Coh1 - its been nice knowing you. Hours later i cant even get past the starting screen.
