compatibility for modern systems and steam achievments
Why not a multiverse version right away?
Why does everyone keep wanting the same game in a new guise?
Adding new graphics doesn't make the game any better.
Do you actually want to buy the same game again just because it looks better?
Do you also buy books because you like the cover?
I personally find remasters and remakes to be absolute bankruptcy.
We have no ideas or desire to make a new game, so we take an old one, repaint it and make the stupid player buy the same game again at full price.
On the one hand, everyone complains about z. B. ubisoft's formula for new games, on the other hand, the gaming community is crying out for just such games.
Oh my mistake. That means you no longer have the same game but a remaster.
Luckily there are new games, because otherwise we would still be playing Pac-Man (Atari 2600) only it would be called Pac-Man the remaster of the remastered remaster of the rebooted reboot.
