Windows 11 coh not starting

Verified files, tried compatibility, re-installed the game several times. Still not working.
I get a little screen: preparing to launch and then...nothing.

Make sure that "Protected Folders" or "Controlled Folder Access" is off in Windows Security. CoH1 needs to access certain directories within Users in order to launch.

Calm down and follow this.
Step 1 to 13
1. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch"

2. Make shot cut.

3. Change name "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch\RelicCOH.exe" -autoconfig

4. Find ''spDx10.dll''Delete it.

5. Go to "C:\Users\Your Folder Name\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes Relaunch\Local.ini"

6. Look screendevice=DirectX10 rendering device

7. Change to DirectX9

8. Save it

9. Test game

10. Go to step 3. -autoconfig change to -costomconfig

11. now you can change option your game

12. If all not help, Call your "Chief Financial Officer".

13. Buy new notebook. and tall me what going on.

Thank you! Changing the DX10 to 9 and deleting the dll for it fixed it for me! I could not play it on windows 11 otherwise.

There's a DX-9 to DX-11 out there, if you care to use it, replaces DX-9 files with DX-11 IN THE GAME'S FOLDER, faking it, but it works in this case. I forgot the address, must search again.

Just three days ago installed on win11pro all three games, everything works just fine... so far. I think that dx10 -> dx9 thing is needed only with Worldbuilder.
