Mixed Factions Mod

Hello everyone,

Due to this http://steamcommunity.com/app/228200/discussions/0/358417008730078581/ , I've decided to started something called the "Mixed Factions Mod". This mod will allow you to play as any faction on any side, so battles such as the Army vs. British Commonwealth can be done.


This mod will NOT have you banned, but you will not be able to play with others unless they have the mod and are playing it as well. This mod will NOT overwrite your Company of Heroes data. If you don't want to play the mod, you can just simply turn it off.


If you guys want, I could add extra gamemodes that add extra resources or popcap, or change a campaign mission's popcap. Maybe something else. However, I will not add new units/skins or models, nor will I change the balance of the game by modifying gun damage or something similar. You'll have to download a mod such as Europe at War, NHC Mod, or my own Bush Mod(NHC and Bush Mod also allows you to play as any faction on any side) for that. Apologies.


If you have any custom skins or sounds installed, it should not conflict with this mod.

I was so excited to find your Mixed_Mod. I got it running on my local COH (PC).
If I want to start my Steam version with the appropriate entries under the startup options, it will not work.
Is that only since 2018 so ...?
I would be grateful for help.

OK. I could imagine that many have used your work. First of thanks for that. COH is just perfect with Mixed_Mod ;-)
I'll take a closer look if the error might be mine.

Thank you for your mod, but it doesn't work for me. In the main menu, all of the letters are missed and replaced by strange numbers followed by the expression "no range". Can you help me, please?

i know this is from 2020, but you are probably using another language than english to play.
To fix this, either switch to english or go copy the \CoH\Engine\Locale\(Whatever language you use)
Copy the language folder you use, go in the \Mixed_Factions\Locale and paste it here, rename the .ucs as "Mixed_Factions.French" (EXAMPLE, REPLACE FRENCH WITH WHATEVER LANGUAGE YOU USE)
