HD Graphics 620 is a problem for play in CoH1, or the drives Directx9?
I cant play CoH1 basic.

I have Intel® Core™ i3-7th gen 7020U CPU @ 2.30GH, 8 GB, buti i have Intel® HD Graphics 620... ¿or the problem is the drivers directx9 in W10? Thanks. How I can play?

Hi dear friend, as the system requirement in the game store page, says, Nvidia and AMD graphics are suitable to play this game, however, it may be possible to play this game with Intel HD graphics as I saw this in a website that examines the hardware compatibility. You may check 2 things. First get the latest drivers from Intel support center website. Second try to lower your graphics settings and disable physics. I can assure you there is no problem with Windows 10 as I played this game on Windows 10 Enterprise X64 without any problem.

Thanks, i try again, but i think the problem is that in new version or last version of W10 Home, cant install the driver directx9 necesary for play CoH... in other PC, with bad processor and graphics, without problem... with old windows 10 ... or first w10
Directx or Windows 10 is the problem...i think

First of all, sincerely thank (F.S.) maaa1939 and CBM 64 for your information and help. It is surprising in these times, that someone stops to see a foreign problem and try to solve it. My English is not very good, so I use the google translator, great tool. I answer CBM 64 first. I tried downloading the directx9 drivers from the microsoft website, and it tells me that they can not be installed in windows 10, but in the rest of the previous systems. I downloaded the exe to the PC and installed it manually, but it asks for a specific location and I do not know if the one assigned is correct, or it does not matter if they are installed because they do not work. In short, nothing, has not made the game run. Maybe the error is locating the driver installation.

A (F.S.) maaa1939, also thank you for your complete and wise information. I have done everything indicated, but the problem is that the game does not advance, it remains on the black screen. Before at least managed to start the game although the graphics prevented play, since you could not see the figures or vehicles but the rest of the environment.

I know very badly, because I've played a lot with CoH with poor and limited PCs, and I'm fond of this game, and now that I have a decent processor (with a bad graphics, but better than previous PCs), it does not work

I have tried many things, configure the Intel graphics, trying with several or all the possibilities, go to the windows features activating options that allow or take into account previous versions of applications and system, compatibilizar CoH.exe, and more things .. but nothing.

I think it's the new version of windows 10, in particular, the subsequent update to the serial PC, which has ruined everything and prevents playing Coh, by the way, I have other games CoH2, Napoleon, Empire, Rome II , etc. .. and phenomenal game at a medium-high level of graphics.
I do not know, if something else happens to you, I would attack you ... but I am pessimistic, although happy for your attention.

The fact that Steam has been installed, and all the games on an external hard drive, and not on C, can influence the problem?
Can the legacy, Tales of value and Opposing Fronts have an influence on the problem?

For this case you may try to:

First get the latest updates for Microsoft Windows 10.

Second, go into the game directory and find "RelicCOH.exe". Create a shortcut from that file. right click on it and go to properties. In properties of the shortcut go under compatibility. Check "Disable fullscreen optimizations." Hit "Apply" then "Ok". Then run the shortcut.

And in the end, you can get access to DirectX in-game files. Go to your steam game library. right click on the Company of Heroes. Click on properties. A new window opes. Then go to the third tab that is "Local Files". In that tab, click on "Browsing local files". Now you can see game files there. Go to _CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010. You can find suitable DirectX for the game.

Your welcome my friend, well I hope to work in such places but currently, I'm only a Computer technician and Adviser with gaming fields passion. I do some little actions sometimes but wouldn't be able to start from somewhere seriously. And I'm not sure about it too.

Perfect, many, many thanks, finally, it has cost, really, but that's it. Besides I liked the game, I had taken it as a personal challenge, I could not have played CoH with PCs and worse graphics cards and it worked, and now not, with a decent half processor. However, it has cost me. At first, doing everything indicated, it did not work, but there has been a time when everything has been fixed, even now I can put high resolution and medium graphics, and it works very well ... but I have also had to apply your indication to all the exe., also to the legacy and modern combat, must be linked ... but that's it, thank you very much again ... without your help, I could not have solved it ...

I live in Zaragoza, in a city of almost a million inhabitants, friendly, quiet and accessible, and fun if the opportunity requires it .... My profession is law, and my passion is reading and writing, but playing CoH and other strategy games, is the only thing that completely evades me from the problems of work and juices, and I rest a little. It's funny, I can only relax and stop thinking about clients and issues, playing CoH ... and similar ... but my favorite ones are CoH1 and 2. That's why you've done a good work and personal ...
