Campaign Locked

Just bought Opposing fronts and the Original CoH (already had Tales of Valor for the multiplayer)... Opposing Fronts is unlocked, but the Normandy campaign is still locked out.

Any ideas?

The Company of Heroes game is consists of:

Core game (Or as you say base game)-Invasion of Normandy

Tales of Valor-Tiger Ace and Causeway and Falaise pocket
https://store.steampowered.com/app/20540/Company_of_Heroes_Tales_of_Valor/

After the release of the steam version, all of these parts combined to one game. There is no more support for older versions and you need their CD or DVD to play them. Also, there is no more online multiplayer access for them. In addition, we have workshop access for the steam version.

So if you want to get access to each part you need to buy that part, there is no need to download the other versions. All you buy will be activated as a DLC under the new steam version.

So fo you need any part of the game you only need to buy it and you can use it in steam version.

Then you can probably play any mission and faction.

I do not have the legacy edition...

I have

Company of heroes
Company of heroes Opposing Fronts
Company of heroes Tales of Valor

All of these have been purchased through steam.

Not sure i need the legacy edition too as it is just the same as the base game, but does not use steamworks (I thought it was basically an upgrade for the boxed edition from way back).

Turns out I did need the Legacy Edition. Very confusing. I thought I had just purchased the base game with Opposing fronts, but nothing showed up on my invoice for it. I then purchased the legacy set, and the normandy campaign works... Thanks for your help.

Incidentally, I bought it for my 12 year old son, this game is older than he is...

They renamed the original and the New Steam version they created when they moved to the valve servers.
They cant seem to lay it out clearly in the store page.
