Does this game support 3440 x 1440 ultrawide?

Whenever I try to change the graphics settings it allows me to select 3440 x 1440p but then changes it back to 2560 x 1080.

It won't even keep it at 2560 x 1440p if I select that instead.

Had the same issue.

But once I put shader quality to high and anti-alias to off, the game accepted 3440x1440 resolution.

The HUD takes up 1/3 of the screen but I can't complain considering the game is over a decade old.

The last time I tried to use an ultrawide (3440 x 1440p) it the resolution kept changing to 1080p, so I used to play on a 2560 x 1440 27 inch monitor instead.. But I haven't played for ages and I recently bought another ultrawide. I just tested then and I had no trouble playing at 3440 x 1440p. Not sure what has changed.

The HUD looks a bit weird though. I think I still prefer this game on my 27 inch 2560 x 1440p.
