Start Menu freeze

Hello,

my buddy has large lag problems with COH. Even he start the game, it will freeze at the start menu.
Any idea?

Well i need help becuz i don't know what that could be maybe if someone with teamviewer could help i know it's not my PC i run ultra just fine

For those of you experiencing problems in CoH after this latest windows update go into the game directory and find RelicCOH.exe. right click properties of the RelicCOH.exe go under compatibility. Check "Disable fullscreen optimizations." Hit "Apply" then "Ok".

You need to get on team viewer with me i did it still feezing i guess the game really has died nothing wrong with my pc so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ laggy but i can play bf1 high settings no prob soooo..... this used to be my fav game until sag. ruined it

I dont need to do anything the game is fine I play it everyone else plays it just a few have problems maybe driver read the trouble shooting guide
do a clean boot.

i'd rather not i think the game has at least met it's end but it's fine played for years was top dawg for awhile took a year off played for 6 more months and here i am thanks but no thanks

If using windows 10, disable full screen optimization.

When starting COH, screen would go black,
1.Go to the folder where you have COH installed and look for RelicCOH.exe

To find it, just simply go to your steam library, right click on Company of Heroes => Properties => Local files => Browse local files
2.Right click on RelicCOH.exe and select Properties. Select the Compatibility tab and check the box that says "Disable fullscreen optimizations"
