T17 has phospohorous rounds. But no .50cal upgrade or armoured side skirts. I think it may have more health than a normal greyhound, but less health than an upgraded one.
If anything I like the Schwimmwagen units for the Whermact and Panzer Elite. They have slightly more health than a motorbike, meaning that they can withstand one sticky bomb, but if they are already damaged then they are dead anyway. They can also travel along water which can be handy in some swampy maps. Also the Panzer Elite schwimwagen has different abilities to the Kettenkrad which may be worth looking into.
Geutzwagen I don't think is that good. It does cost 8 population over a Stug's 4 which is a big deal for myself.
Kangaroo carriers. People complained about them being OP. I dont know if they ever change anything about them. People also complained about Staghound being OP and very good against infantry. Of course, you choose that reward unit and you can no longer make Cromwell command tanks, which is vital if you want to make some Fireflies.
I tried the Geschutzwagen a few times, but consider it a glass cannon and went back to the Stug.
Does anybody have this problem with the British Staghound Armoured Car? When I replaced my Cromwell Command Tank with the Staghound, it never gained any experience. Consequently all my tanks stayed at "green" vet status for the game. The Command Tank vets up with experience, but not the Staghound. Very annoying.
Yes, I believe the Staghound does not give veterancy.
As for the Geschutzwagen: It's really a sidegrade. You trade a turret-less tank for a mobile AT gun.
