game paused black screen glitch?

This happened twice tonight trying to play. I press all buttons to unpause and nothing. Also it makes my game windowed mode out of nowhere. Any ideas how to fix?

I just had the same issue. It happens when you ALT+TAB in a cut-scene. The game freezes, just says Game Paused on a blank screen.

Not sure if this is the same issue, but when I ran the game on this computer for the first time, everything seemed to work fine. Then after I changed the screen resolution settings, it got stuck on the "do you want to keep these settings?" buttons which I couldn't click on for some reason. I alt-tabbed out, closed the game, restarted it, and now it gets stuck on the opening logos.

Same thing happened to me and I am looking into this.

go to the game and go to properties,then launch options and type: -autoconfig

The game should start up with no issues.
