stupid game choice?
If you have a gun with a scope and a laser instead of aiming with the scope it turns the gun sideways and aims with the laser. Did I do something stupid with the settings can I set it to normal or is the game devs fault. I see this problem in battle royale mode.

Just remove laser.This is the way it works.

you can right click twice and you will aim with scope

Both above answers are the only answers.

The laser is canted sight. Double click to fully ads. I believe however it's bugged still on controllers, so some people can't fully ads with the laser on.

Ok i was right clicking hoping it will aim normally I guess I was doing it wrong.

I think that is what they intended to do but it's buggy. Most of the times it doesn't work and if it does the next time you are going to aim it will still aim with the laser. As a result you will get frustrated trying to do it again and again.

Just get rid of it most people use the scope.

Yeah, most people only use the lasers for close range weapons like smgs or small map ars, and then some people who like to hipfire snipe. Other than that they're pretty useless. We don't even use them in comp since their stats are worse than what we use, ontop of the canted sight issue.

on your own loadouts you can toggle the canted ads off on the laser attachment.

on dropped weapons like in CZ you have to live with it.

Go to 'Options > Controls > Combat Keybinds' and swap the bindings for 'Aim Down Sight' and 'Aim Down Sight / Canted ADS,' then lasers'll work as you prefer.

S'what I did.

theres also in the lasers tab (should be):
"Canted ADS"
if the box is filled in, then itll aim sideways.
If its deselected, then it should ignore the laser
