How to unlock locked weapon attachments?

For the X5 pistol, it says the muzzle accessories are "Locked by XSeries Integral"

So...does the X5 pistol just not take muzzle attachments? Or do I need to do something else, because it looks like I have specifically unlcocked muzzle attachments for the X5 pistol

I'm not sure but I think if you keep using that weapon and score some skills some attachments will be unlocked eventually. I only started to play this game yesterday so take my consideration with a grain of salt

You need to change the slide, but I think you have to get that gun to level 40 before you can do so. The X5 pistol is still pretty nice though. Worst pistol in the game IMHO is the compact 1911.

keep leveling the gun until you unlock the option to change the slide. then you'll be able to equip muzzle attachments on it.

Thank you for your help. You were right.

The X5's default barrel is called the XSeries Integral. I needed to change that attachment to make room for the muzzle ones.

It's either not a high enough level or you need to swap another attachment.

If you see the "Blocked by" symbol, then you have to change your barrel to something else or remove it entirely.
