Turbo Dismount 2

Literally cured my depression
I have been having a pretty crumby week so far, and have feeling pretty low these past few days. Work has been piling up, had an argument with a close friend, and kind of just feeling purposeless with life in general.

A couple days ago I had downloaded the demo for this game after loving the first one so many years ago. Though, after being so cynical and pessimistic about the industry for so long, I just kind of thought "Huh, I wonder how they'll screw this one up."

After getting home today, still feeling pretty low, I decided to just haphazardly boot up this demo so I had something to do in the background.

But then, as soon as Strauss's Blue Danube Waltz kicked in with the slow motion chaos raining down around me, I was literally HOWLING with laughter. I could not contain myself, I was literally crying out of sheer unadulterated schadenfreude. Suddenly today doesn't feel so bad.

Thanks to everyone at Secret Exit for releasing a perfect demo and the perfect time. Knowing this is but a small fraction of sadistic fun to be had, I am now eagerly awaiting for the full release. The first Turbo Dismount was truly special, and this is absolutely a worthy successor.

Turbo Dismount 2 literally cured my depression.

P.S. The soundtrack is an absolute banger.

Thank you for this.

Our gamedev reality is that we've been listening to the same soundtrack for... quite some time now, and we may understand a little bit of how it feels for a stand-up comedian to give the same performance multiple times. At some point it becomes very hazy how you expect the game to be received.

So happy to hear we can still deliver on the fun!
