Anyone ever had an issue where ZDL just stopped working?

I've been using ZDL as a launcher so I can get the new content from this update and the new OST usable with GZDoom and Brutal Doom. Now all of a sudden, ZDL won't launch for me anymore. I'll see the ZDL icon on my taskbar, but I can't interact with it.

Curious if anyone's had this problem before and uncovered a fix for it. I searched for a similar topic and the issue might be there's a config file somewhere I need to delete, but I'm not sure where it would be located in Steam's Doom files?

I'm also pretty dumb with this kind of stuff, so if anyone does have an answer, if you could explain it like you'd explain it to a five year old, I'd greatly appreciate it :)

This has never happened to me.

Though there's different forks, and getting the flathub version to work with flatpack's sandboxing and permissions was a PITA for me.

I like ZDL but I gave up on it eventually, it's just too flakey.
I settled on using DoomRunner instead, which by design is an alternative to ZDL, and functions a lot like ZDL.

Unfortunately you have to ELI5 with me for a lot of this stuff. I have no idea what you just said lol

Also what kind of ZDL, there are at least 4 different versions and a bit more forks.

I'm pretty sure I am? It's ZDL 3.2.2.2, and I'll open ZDL.exe from it's location and literally nothing happens. I can see the ZDL icon at the bottom of my tabs like it's a currently running program, but no window opens up and I can't interact with the icon.
