myhouse wad not working

ive downloaded it from 2 diffrent people on the mods section does anyone know why it doesnt work?

That's because people upload anything without making sure it actually is compatible with this release.

MyHouse needs GZDoom IIRC.

It does indeed, for rather obvious reasons (it's a VERY complex WAD, especially in terms of its usage of portals).

You should still play it. Not because of chasing the trends but just to experience the technical marvel that it is for a Doom mod.

I will get around to it eventually. Just not on top of my priority list. There is so much good wads out there that I don't exactly feel the need to experience somekind of gimmick.

That one is special to me. My mother used to play Hocus Pocus back when she was alive. I play Hocus Pocus Doom once a year because it reminds me of those good days.

I actually completely missed it launching because I quit playing doom for a while. I've got some early versions of it Ravage sent me when it was still only 3-4 maps floating around in one of my gzdoom folders. Glad it actually got finished. Hocus Pocus was such a weird source of inspiration for a doom wad but man it turned out well.
