If you don't like WinZip then uninstall it, what is the problem?

Download the zip file. Extract the zip file.

In other words, when you click the download link, your browser should ask you what you want to do with the file. Select the option that says save file or something.

After the file has finished downloading, extract its contents to a folder anywhere. One way to do this is by right clicking the zip file, and then selecting Open with > Windows Explorer.

Another way is to download a free archiver such as B1 Free Archiver, which can be downloaded and then installed. After B1 has installed, right click the zip file and select one of the B1 extraction options that is now listed in the menu that appears. For example, you could choose Extract to > New folder... Then in the window that appears, enter a folder name; for example, GZDoom. The contents of the zip file will then be extracted to a "GZDoom" folder in that directory.

You can then move the folder named GZDoom and/or its contents to a different location if you wish.
